Christian Hoff To Perform in Bacharach To The Future
According to BBB-Blogger, POZ Magazine, the premier lifestyle, treatment and advocacy magazine for people living with-and those affected by - HIV and AIDS, will present the premier performance of BACHARACH TO THE FUTURE to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The one night only event will be held on World AIDS Day, Monday, December 1 starting at 7:30 PM at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

Promises, Promises), Billy Porter (Angels in America, Jesus Christ Superstar), Linda Purl (Tom Sawyer), Julie Reiber (Wicked, Rent), Tony Roberts (Promises, Promises, Xanadu, Victor/Victoria) Michael Rupert (Sweet Charity), Kevin Spirtas (The Boy from Oz), Matt Walton (Hair, Burn After Reading), and Pearce Wegener (Gypsy).
BACHARACH TO THE FUTURE will honor music legend and long time advocate for the fights against HIV/AIDS, Burt Bacharach. The evening will feature some of Broadway’s most talented performers singing classics from the Bacharach songbook including the 1985 pioneering recording of “That’s What Friends Are For” which benefitted The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR). December 1 will mark the 40th anniversary of Promises, Promises, Bacharach’s award-winning Broadway musical.
