Christian, thanks so much for posting this statement. You have given all of us who know and love you both as fan and friend at least a small measure of comfort that you’re OK.
Christian, all of us feel for you, Melissa and your wonderful family. I know you’ve heard all the cliches, but the one that sometimes comforts me is “whatever does not kill me makes me stronger.” You’re already due back bigger than ever, with “The Who’s Tommy” first on the agenda. Please continue to keep us all updated.

I am just SO grateful that our group was able to see you in the show, Christian. It was a wonderful night! Your graciousness afterwards is always appreciated. It would have been devastating if we had come just a few days later and missed you. We look forward to seeing you in your next project, when hopefully we’ll be in the audience multiple times. Have a good holiday with your family.

Christian, Audrey was so right. We had such a good time at Pal Joey. Your performance was everything I imagined it would be…your Joey Evans was charming and almost sleazy at the same time. I enjoyed hearing you sing, especially “I Could Write a Book.” And I also liked your fancy footwork…it was such a different style from Jersey Boys. Two things I really liked (and I don’t know why) was the twirling hat tossed high in the air (which you caught perfectly!) and you sliding down the curved bannister…they both made me smile! The only thing more charming than your onstage Joey was the kindness you showed us after the show. I’m sure Audrey will agree with me! You can count on my support and I look forward to your future projects. Sending healing thoughts your way. Enjoy these special holidays wth your family. Lulu

Christian,
I am not one of the fortunate ones that were able to see you in the rare performance of Joey Evans, as my trip to NY to see Pal Joey was not until January…but from what I have heard, you were amazing! And although I did not see you first hand…I can only imagine what you would have been like by opening night! You put your heart and soul in EVERYTHING you do and the lives you have touched along the way are better, just from knowing you. What a loss for this production! Much better things are yet to come for you and your fans here in Georgia will be awaiting impatiently for your next project. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

P.S. My Mother and sister are flying in on the 13th from Florida to see Pal Joey…does this production company have any idea how many tickets were sold to see YOU? So just know that your fans from Florida will also be looking forward to your next venture!

Christian always has been and always will be a class act. I would go back to see him as Joey in a second. A world-class musical theater star!

As soon as i heard Christian was doing Pal Joey I bought my ticket right away. I purchased a ticket for the 3rd preview performance and I consider myself very, very fortunate to have had the opportunity to see his performance. I loved the play and everything in it. Christian was wonderful as i had hoped he would be and I am sure that he will go on to bigger and better things.

Dear Christian, thank you so much for your message. I am sure it feels good to know that your fans will continue to support you no matter what.
I live in Belgium and had planned a NYC trip specifically to see Pal Joey. So the news was a bit of a bummer (ok, a huge bummer) to me, but knowing that you’re doing fine and that you apparently were fantastic at the TOMMY concert, really makes a difference. I wish you all the best and can’t wait to see you perform live again.

Chris, As a TEN time Jersey Boys Fan of yours, the ONLY reason going to see Pay Joey was to see YOU. Whatever the reason, I’m sure it’s the audience’s loss. Continued success. Wishing you the best from Connecticut. Planning on seeing the show Dec.18th. The thrill is gone……….
